Version 7.18.1

This document provides information about features, issues that were discovered and fixed since the previous release, and any limitations of the release. It is important that you read this document before you install and configure this version.

New Features and Enhancements

 

New Linux Distributions

RedHat Enterprise Linux version 10 is now supported by the Linux Agent.

Oracle Linux version 9 and version 10 are now supported by the Linux Agent.

Debian 13 version is now supported by the Linux Agent.

Support for MacBook Neo

From Agent 7.18.1, MacBook Neo is supported.

Upgrade Handlebars.js

Upgraded version of Handlebars.js to 4.7.9

Support for A18 chip

A18 chip for macOS is now supported.

Node JS Version Upgrade

Node js upgraded to 22.22.2

.NET Upgrade

.NET upgraded to 10.0.5 from .NET 8.0.22

Last version supporting Sql Server 2016

From On-Prem version 7.18.2, Sql Server 2016 will no longer be supported.

[Issue 1388]: Fixed an issue where the agent service old FAM driver occasionally crashed and resulted in blue screens displaying.

[Issue 1100]: Fixed an issue where an Application server is installed with script and custom TARGETDIR, the Application server is installed under the custom TARGETDIR while the ‘RuleEngineService' is installed under 'C:\Program Files\ObserveIT\Web’.
