Version 7.16.1

This document provides information about new features, issues that were discovered and fixed since the previous release, and any limitations of the release. It is important that you read this document before you install and configure this version.

Linux/Unix distribution software that are no longer supported have been removed from deployment package.

Resolved Issues

[Issue 1134]: Fixed an issue where the upgrade failed when DBRole ObserveITCxUsers had members assigned to it.

[Issue 1112, 1128]: Fixed an issue where the Status filter on the Endpoint Management screen did not work correctly when filtering by Automatic Unregister or Uninstalled.

[Issue 1088]: Fixed an issue where the system event -1903 Task Overdue - was triggered more frequently than once in every 24 hours.

[Issue 1160]: Fixed an issue where Endpoint Groups for Mac were displayed with a Windows icon and could not be assigned to Mac Recording Policies.

[Issue 1127]: Fixed an issue where switch partition of UserWinActivity Alter Table was blocked.

[Issue 1154]: Fixed an issue where after changing the logger process name on Mac, many system events type 1209 and 1210 were sent to the backend.

[Issue 1129]: Fixed an issue where monitoring browsing activity on Windows Edge was not functioning correctly after the Edge process name was renamed by Microsoft.

[Issue 1002]: Fixed an issue where the MIP label was not extracted correctly when set in Korean language.

[Issue 569, 899]: Fixed an issue where email notifications on scheduled reports were not sent consistently.

[Issue 542]: Fixed an issue where the Report screen did not list the reports due to an internal error.

[Issue 1125]: Fixed an issue where upgrade from version 7.14 failed due to SpecialKey table in the database, resulting with the error message: "COLUMN SpecialKeyWord failed because one or more objects access this column."

[Issue 1120]: Fixed an issue where upgrading from version 7.13 failed, resulting in the error message "Arithmetic overflow error converting IDENTITY".

[Issue 679]: Fixed an issue where the Change Endpoint Groups pop-up was not displayed correctly when it was opened from the Endpoint screen.

[Issue 1133] Fixed an issue where CPU usage of the Linux Agent daemon (obitd) got too high due to a corrupted local JWT file, caused by failure in replacing old JWT file with a new file.

Known Issues

Email sending is not captured and reported to the backend in the new Outlook version for macOS when clicking the icon to collapse the email details (To, CC, BCC, Attachments) into a single line on the New Mail screen.
