Version 7.15.2

This document provides information about new features, issues that were discovered and fixed since the previous release, and any limitations of the release. It is important that you read this document before you install and configure this version.

For all Mac Agents - Any Mac Agent upgraded from a version earlier than 7.15.1 to 7.15.1 (or any future versions) requires uninstalling the prior version and Profile (ObserveIT signature) before installing the new version.

This version includes security fixes and new features.

New Features and Enhancements

Image Security on Application Server

Previously, the incorrect  EFS certificate could be selected when more than one EFS certificate was created with the same Subject value. To resolve this, from version 7.15.2, the certificate is read by serial number, and the Friendly name displays in the UI. (This feature resolves Issue 976.)

Updated Support

• Windows 11 23H2 is now supported

• . NET Core upgraded to 6.0.25

• Screenshot Storage: 7.15.2 is the last version allowing screenshot storage on SQL Server database. From version 7.15.3, screenshot storage will be allowed on file-systems only.

Native Support for M-series Processors

Added native support for M-series processors (ARM architecture) on Mac Agents for improved performance. Rosetta installation is no longer required.

Load Balancer Enhancement

To improve Load Balancing, now you can provide the URL for Web Console with High Availability (HA) in addition to the and Application Server with HA in the Load Balancer area of Configuration > Security & Privacy > Security & Privacy > Security tab.

[Issue 1018]: Fixed an issue where there were API inconsistent responses. Improved Get Screenshot process in Activity Service Wizard Reply Mechanism.

[Issue 931]: Fixed an issue where false application grey status was stuck and multiple system events showed green statuses.

[Issues 1029]: Fixed an issue where the system preferences kept flickering and changing screens on Mac.

[Issue 976]: Fixed an issue where the Application server selected the incorrect EFS certificate when more than one EFS certificated was created with the same Subject value.

[Issue 1013 ]: Fixed performance issue by improving GetSessionLogin.

[Issue 1032]: Fixed performance issue by improving compilation slowness.

[Issue 1031]: Fixed an issue where Application Recording Policy was not working as expected. Issue resolved with clean row image data.

[Issue 1026]: Fixed an issue where list of alerts in Configuration tab was not showing correctly by decoding the list data.

[Issue 842]: Fixed an issue where Web Console is installed in HA with LB VIP and the HM service was not starting on the secondary Web Console, by adding a UI representation for the Web console VIP URL.

[Issues 1021, 1044, 1043, 1041]:  Fixed issue with Splunk resulting in 400 error.

[Issue 1015]: Fixed an issue where column name session ID on stored procedures was invalid.

[Issue 1007]: Fixed an issue with SMTP passwords. Password length is changed to maximum of 80 characters as supported by Microsoft.

[Issue 1006]: Fixed an issue where screenshot meta data date field was not showing properly.

[Issue 1005]: Fixed an issue where recording notification was not showing when the menu bar was hidden on Mac Agent.

[Issue 895]: Fixed an issue where Endpoint Status filter was not displaying Automatic Unregistered / Uninstalled statuses correctly.

[Issue 1035]: Fixed an issue with NULL value in ActionGroupID column during FAM upgrade.

[Issue 1030]: Fixed an issue where date columns in Export to Excel did not display as date formats.

[Issue 1019]: Fixed an issue with character length of AD group name. AD group name length is changed to maximum of 63 characters as supported by Microsoft.

[Issue 1049]: Fixed an issue where a duplicate field cannot be entered in Daily Score SQL_Exception.

[Issue 1047]: Fixed an issue where group cannot be added to Recording Policy when domain name contains -char.

[Issue 1045]: Fixed an issue where Session Player shows only single bell icon on the Progress bar for Linux endpoints.

[Issue 1036]: Fixed an issue where converting AreThereOfflines value converting issue and adjusting correct size of AuditConfigurationId field.

[Issue 1024]: Fixed an issue where MetaDataHashByLicense table is not working by preventing Null value.

[Issue 228]: Fixed an issue with the license page by removing irrelevant contract details.
