Version 7.15.0

This document provides information about new features, issues that were discovered and fixed since the previous release, and any limitations of the release. It is important that you read this document before you install and configure this version.

New Features and Enhancements

FIPS Compliance

Proofpoint ITM On-Prem is now FIPS complaint also for all backend components. The Windows Agent is also FIPS Compliant.

Keylogger Enhancement for Japanese Market

The set of word-delimiters (to split the stream of typed text into words before storing them in DB) was enhanced for the Japanese market to contain additional 2 characters (、。) that act as delimiters.

Mac Agent Certification Validation

Mac Agent was enhanced to perform validation of the certification of the server.

File Diary Improvement

The performance with File Diary page was improved by boosting the loading time of dropdown fields.

Improved Translation Support

Some text that was displayed within non-English versions of the Web Console was not fully translated. These gaps were closed.

Updated Support

Node .js upgraded to version 20.3.0

. NET Core upgraded to 6.0.20

Resolved Issues

[Issue 854]: File Diary screen in the Korean verson of the Web Console was fixed to display data correctly.

[Issue 744]: Offline message text was adapted to also support special characters.

[Issue 594]: Modification of the Archive Storage Management low database space notification settings are now saved correctly.

[Issue 871]: Scheduled Report is no longer sent after the configured end date.

[Issue 885]: The brand name ObserveIT was replaced by Proofpoint in the Certificate.

[Issue 927]: The view mode of Show Time by Endpoint as fixed on the Web Console.

[Issue 958]: Reading track file details of the database was optimized for better performance.

[Issue 823]: Installation was updated to skip installing the.Net version that comes with the install package if a newer version is already installed on the endpoint.

[Issue 940]: Database installation was fixed to overcome exception that was in the log file.

[Issue 957]: Database performance was improved by optimizing queries to get Agent data.

[Issue 924]: Failure of archiving process in specific scenarios was fixed.

[Issue 909]: Mac Agent was adapted to run correctly on Korean localized Mac with Big Sur and Monterey.

[Issue 891]: During Linux Agent installation, the correct error message is displayed when license exceeds maximum capacity (instead of registration failure error).

[Issue 856]: Large print job now detected properly as Large on Chrome.
