DBA Activity Report Configuration
This topic describes the metadata that you can select to be included in a DBA Activity type report (see Report Types). DBA Activity reports can be generated on monitored Windows or Mac-based endpoints.
ObserveIT enables you to generate reports based on SQL queries that were executed by DBAs against production databases. For details, see Auditing DBA Activity.
For example, you might want to generate a report showing all sessions containing SQL queries in which a specific database user was looking for specific alert IDs in the Alerts database, during a specified time period.
For detailed instructions on the steps required to create a report, see Creating a Custom Report.
When creating a DBA Activity type report, you can specify types of columns for:
-
DBA Activity fields: as described in the table
-
Session fields: see Session Report Configuration
-
Endpoint fields: see Endpoint Report Configuration
-
User fields: see User Report Configuration
