Proofpoint | ObserveIT On-Premises Release Notes Version 7.10.1

This document provides information about features, issues that were discovered and fixed since the previous release of ObserveIT, and any limitations of the release. It is important that you read this document before you install and configure ObserveIT 7.10.1.

When upgrading to versions 7.10 and 7.10.1 from previous versions, some files are missing on the Agent side. The following is impacted:
* USB Copy is not captured
* FAM events are not tracked on network drivers

Upgrades

Release 7.10.1 includes the following upgrades:

• .NET Core has been upgraded to 3.1.7 including security packages
• When duplicating an active System rule, if you opt to inactivate the original rule, the original rule is marked correctly as inactive in the database. When upgrading, the original System rule remains inactive, it is not returned to active.

• [Issue prem-1564]: Capability to define trusted domain in email policy has been fixed.
• [Issue prem-1540]: Improved Screenshot Storage Optimizer stability,
• [Issue prem-1678]: For Mac Agents, added protection mechanism to safeguard against removing configuration profile while Agent is running (by killing and restarting logger).
• [Issue prem-1900]: Within the 16 new categories, fitness websites are categorized correctly.
• [Issue prem-2189]: In the User Activity Policy space character is supported.
• [Issue prem-2121]: Screenshots are displayed correctly in the native player (that is the zip file downloaded from the saved sessions screen).
• [Issue CA-1523]: For Mac Agents, logger crash resolved when unable to determine or validate its screen recording permissions.
