Software View

This view is only displayed if the setting Show Inventory and Software screens (Endpoint Diary) was enabled in the System Settings page. For details, see Configuring System Settings.

The Software View displays a list of the software that is currently installed on the specific endpoint. This information is gathered from the endpoint and displayed for your convenience. The information is read-only and cannot be changed.

To display the software installed on an endpoint

Select Software in the left menu of the Endpoint Diary.
In the Endpoint field, specify the endpoint you want to view and click the Go button. (You can also enter text directly in the Endpoint field to search for the required endpoint name or IP address or click the button and select it from the Endpoint List popup window.)
If a software or program is installed on the endpoint after the ObserveIT Agent was installed, a Video Replay icon will appear next to the software name, allowing you to replay and view that software's installation process. This link only appears for programs that were installed after the ObserveIT Agent was installed. Clicking the Search link next to a program or software opens a Google search page with results related to that program or software.
