Exporting and Printing File Activities

ObserveIT allows you to export to Microsoft Excel and print the metadata of all or selected file activities.

To export file activity metadata

• In the File Activity page, select the required activities for which you want to export their details, and click the icon above the list. For details, see File Activity View.

  You can select all the file activities for export by clicking the selection icon above the list.

  A Report To Export browser window opens displaying the details as an Excel file which you can view and save.

To print file activity metadata

• In the File Activity page, select the required activities for which you want to print their details, and click the icon.

  You can select all the file activities for export by clicking the selection icon above the list.

  A Report To Export browser window opens, from which you can print the report as you would any browser window.

  From this window, you can also click the Excel link to open the information as an Excel file.
