Force Using New API for Agent-Server Communication
Use this option if you want to force the agents to use the new enhanced API for Agent-Server communication. This is available from version 7.12 onwards. Older Agents (before 7.12) will not be able to communicate with the server using this API.
In clean installations of version 7.12.0 (or later), this option is selected by default. Upon upgrading from versions earlier than 7.12, this option is not selected by default and requires manual activation. If you want to upgrade your agents as well, first make sure this option is not selected, then upgrade the old agents, and only then activate this option.
For customers with Linux Agents, you must disable this option or the Agent will not be able to communicate.
Navigate to Configuration > Security & Privacy > Security & Privacy and select the Security tab.

In the Force Using New API for Agent-Server Communication area, check Force all agents to use the new API for Agent-Server communication.

Click Update.
